I’m an undergraduate working on my degree in Cinema (writing-directing) at the University of Iowa. I’ve been making films, whether behind the camera or in front, since 2005. I have a side interest in existentialism and philosophy in general. I grew up watching anime, playing video games, and, of course, watching movies (anything by Bruce Lee, Jet Li, or Disney movies). Nowadays my tastes fall all over the spectrum of cinema. Some directors I admire are: Terrence Malick, Stanley Kubrick, Christopher Nolan, Martin Scorsese, Roman Polanski, Jean-Luc Godard, Alfred Hitchcock, and Satoshi Kon.

I am a student at the University of Louisville, working towards a degree in Modern Cultural Studies, with a focus in Film, Literature and Popular Music. I began writing essays and reviews on films during the winter of 2008. I work at an independent video store, Wild and Woolly, which gives me access to any number of films to sate my appetite. I love the French New Wave and the films of Martin Scorsese.
Hey,
Don’t know if this is interesting to you, but relating to your post on the Burke and Hare filming in Edinburgh, I filmed some of the action last night. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L4i9GCIibzo
Feel free to use if you think it’s worth it.

Thanks for the clip! I’ll be sure to cite you (I didn’t know if I wanted to take video or not, but I figure those who are really interested won’t have the film ruined for them by watching behind the scenes stuff)
No worries mate. Any idea where they’re filming on Thurs and Fri?
